How it works
Four steps from topic to upload
- 1
Give it a topic
A question, a title or your own notes. Pick long video or short, the length, the look and the voice.
- 2
Approve the script
Heady drafts the outline, chapters and narration. Change any line, move chapters around, then approve.
- 3
Heady makes it
Every scene is drawn in one style, narrated, captioned, scored and cut together while you do something else.
- 4
Download and publish
Get the MP4, SRT subtitles and a description with the chapter timestamps to paste into YouTube.
A 15-minute video is a lot of scenes. Heady renders long videos in two-minute pieces that run side by side, instead of one long render.

Questions
Good questions, straight answers
What is Heady?
Heady is a web app that turns a topic into a finished faceless video. It drafts the outline and script, draws every scene in one style, narrates it, adds subtitles and music, and renders a long YouTube video with chapters or a vertical short. You approve the script before anything renders.
How long can a video be?
Long videos run from 8 to 30 minutes in 16:9 with chapters, on the Pro and Studio plans. Shorts are vertical (9:16), usually 30 to 120 seconds. The Creator plan also makes videos up to 5 minutes.
Do I need to show my face or record my voice?
No. Heady narrates with AI voices and draws every scene, so you never appear on camera or at the microphone.
Can I monetise Heady videos on YouTube?
YouTube decides that, and nobody can promise it. YouTube does not monetise mass-produced or repetitive videos, so Heady is built for authored ones: you pick the topic, approve a sourced script, and every video is its own. Label realistic synthetic content when YouTube asks you to.
What does a credit buy?
One finished minute of video. A 12-minute video uses 12 credits, whichever plan you are on.
Is Heady open source?
Heady is built on Content Factory, an open-source (MIT) video engine. Heady adds the hosted web app, long videos, Motion and the voices, so you need neither a powerful computer nor your own API keys.
Which languages does Heady speak?
Heady launches in English. More narration languages will follow.
